On June 22, 2023, Tianjin Zhefeng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and a steel plant in Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, successfully completed the electric arc furnace wall cluster oxygen carbon gun transformation project, through the replacement of Zhefeng company cluster oxygen combustion gun and on-site process guidance, to save the overall cost of the electric furnace is expected to achieve the goal.

After the completion of the project renovation, the tapping temperature of the electric furnace is reduced by 5.44 ℃, the power consumption per ton of steel is reduced by 30.57 degrees, the lime consumption per ton of steel is reduced by 1.3kg, the carbon powder consumption per ton of steel is reduced by 0.44kg, the smelting time of the electric furnace is shortened by 6.16min, the cost is directly saved by 8.95 yuan/ton, and the daily output of 12-hour production is increased by 170-200 tons.

The cluster oxygen burner produced by Tianjin Zhefeng Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. has been upgraded on the basis of the traditional single-tube oxygen burner, adding a layer of "protective clothing" to the central oxygen jet, making the oxygen jet more penetrating. According to the fluid simulation analysis results of the two oxygen lances, the traditional single-tube oxygen lance begins to decay after reaching the speed 0.1 meters away from the outlet, while the cluster oxygen burner developed by our company can still maintain the speed 0.7 meters away from the jet outlet to ensure sufficient dynamic performance. Figure 2 and Figure 3 show the impact effect of the traditional single-tube oxygen lance on the molten steel surface and the impact effect of the cluster oxygen burner lance on the molten steel surface respectively. We can clearly see that the latter has a better impact effect on the molten steel-basically reaching 1.73 times of the impact depth of the former, which can more effectively complete the piercing of the steel slag liquid surface and deep into the molten steel for reaction stirring, especially the cluster oxygen burner has the advantage of the stirring ability of molten steel in the lower part, can effectively complete the pure molten steel, uniform composition and temperature, speed up the smelting speed, reduce the consumption of the role, to ensure that the electric furnace production of high safety, high effect, low energy consumption.
